Des Moines Capitals

The Des Moines Capitals Hockey Program is a competitive high school hockey team that has proudly represented central Iowa for over 30 years. Comprising players from schools across the region, the Capitals compete in the Midwest High School Hockey League, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and excellence both on and off the ice. With a commitment to rigorous competition and teamwork, the Capitals have become a cornerstone of Iowa’s high school hockey community.

Beyond the game, the Des Moines Capitals focus on shaping strong, competent, and community-minded individuals.
